How long does a Shopify store build actually take?
10 working days from contract signing to launch, as long as I have your product photos, copy, and brand colours by day 3. If content arrives late, the timeline shifts by however many days it's delayed — the clock only runs when I have what I need.
What if I don't have product photos yet?
You need them before I can build the store — I don't shoot product photography. If you're not sure your current photos are good enough, send them in your intake form and I'll tell you straight whether they'll work.
What do I need to migrate from Etsy to Shopify?
Your product listings, descriptions, and images, plus your order history if you want it preserved. Migration from Etsy is an $800 add-on to the base build — I handle moving everything over, you don't touch a spreadsheet.
What if I have more than 30 products?
Additional products are $10 each, added to your invoice with the base project. One invoice, one payment — no mid-build surprises.
Do I need to know how to use Shopify?
No. I work in your account from day one. At handoff, you'll know how to update a product, change a price, and swap an image — without calling me. That's covered in a dedicated training session, not a quick screen share.
What happens after handoff?
30 days of post-launch support are included in the $3,500. If something breaks or behaves unexpectedly, I fix it at no charge. Extended support beyond 30 days is a $500 add-on.
How do I know you won't disappear halfway through, like my last hire?
You're never locked out, and you never pay in full upfront. I work inside your own Shopify account from day one, added as a collaborator — not a password only I hold. Everything built lives in your account, visible to you the whole way through, not just at handoff. Payment splits 50/50: half on contract signing, half at handoff, so you're never carrying the full risk before the work exists. And the build itself is 10 working days, not 10 weeks — a short window instead of months of silence to worry through.
