This is a separate engagement from the site build — it runs before the build, not during it.

The 10-day build clock starts when your brand assets are approved and delivered. The reason: building a site before a brand exists means rebuilding it once the brand is decided. Branding first means the site goes live looking finished, not patched.

Branding is invoiced separately and paid in full before work begins. If you already have a brand — logo files, colors, and fonts — you don't need this.

When you need a custom quote

Some projects fall outside the scope above. I quote these directly.

  • Shopify Plus builds

  • Custom app development or API integrations

  • Stores with 100+ products requiring data cleaning before migration

  • Multi-language or multi-currency store setup

Payment structure

Add-ons are invoiced with the base project. Branding is invoiced separately — paid in full before work begins.

On contract signing

50% of the project total. This confirms your start date and starts the 10-day clock.

At handoff

The remaining 50%, due before the handoff training call — not on net-30 terms.

Payment accepted via Stripe and PayPal. You'll receive a shareable payment link on invoice — no account required to pay.

Pricing Questions

  • The flat price covers everything listed in the build card above — the full build, revisions, handoff training, and 30 days of post-launch support. That last part is not a bonus. It is part of the project. You get 30 days of technical support after your site goes live regardless of which build you choose.

    What is not included: the platform subscription fee you pay directly to Shopify or Squarespace, any paid theme licence (billed to you directly), third-party app subscriptions, and any add-ons you choose from the menu above.

  • Yes, but scope changes after the project starts require a revised invoice and may affect the delivery date. The 10-day timeline is built around a fixed scope. If you want to add a page, a migration, or extra products mid-build, I'll quote it and we decide together whether it joins the current project or runs as a follow-on.

    The cleanest approach: decide everything upfront, pay the add-ons with the deposit, and the full scope is locked before day one.

  • The intake form asks enough questions for me to identify whether your project fits the base build or needs a custom quote. If it's a straightforward store or site, the prices here are accurate. If your catalogue is large, your technical requirements are specific, or your timeline is tight, I'll tell you what the right number is before you commit to anything.

  • No. Paid themes are licenced directly to you — you own the licence, not me. Most quality Shopify themes run between $180 and $380 as a one-time purchase. I'll recommend the right theme for your build before we start, and you purchase it once through your Shopify account. That cost sits outside my invoice entirely.

    Squarespace site builds use the platform's built-in templates, so there is no separate theme purchase.

  • Platform subscriptions — Shopify's monthly plan, Squarespace's annual fee — are paid directly by you to the platform. Any paid third-party apps I connect during the build are either free-tier tools or ones you already subscribe to. If a build genuinely requires a paid app, I flag it before the project starts so there are no surprises.

    My invoice covers the build work. Platform and app costs are yours to hold, because they're yours to keep long after the build ends.

  • Branding runs first, on its own invoice, paid in full before work begins. Once your logo, colors, and fonts are approved and delivered, the 10-day store build clock starts. The two projects do not run at the same time — the build is applied to a finished brand, not a work-in-progress one.

    Total investment: $1,500 for branding + $3,500 for the Shopify store = $5,000, invoiced in two stages. Branding is paid upfront in full. The store build follows the 50/50 structure.
