Hillingdon Advice Partnership (HAP) is a borough-wide, council-commissioned service led by Age UK Hillingdon, Harrow & Brent (Age UK HHB), designed to offer a single trusted point of access to free information, advice, guidance, and wellbeing support for adults in Hillingdon. The partnership brings together four organizations—Age UK HHB, Disability Advice and Support Hillingdon (DASH), Bell Farm Christian Centre, and Nucleus Legal Advice—and extends through collaboration with Hillingdon Council and support from Citizens Advice Hillingdon.
HAP provides tailored help to adults (18+) including those with disabilities, mental‑health needs, dementia, autism, ADHD, and other vulnerabilities, covering areas such as welfare benefits, housing, debt, financial advice, and community wellbeing

Hillingdon Advice Partnership sought to establish a unified digital presence that would serve as a clear and trusted access point for adult residents in need of advice and wellbeing support. The goal was to create a website that not only reflected the collaboration between local partners but also made it easy for users—particularly those in vulnerable circumstances—to find, understand, and act on the help available to them.

The site was built on Squarespace, chosen for its accessibility features, mobile responsiveness, and intuitive content management—empowering non-technical staff to manage updates independently.User Experience and Accessibility Strategy
Designed the site structure to support users navigating benefits, housing, and wellbeing support—particularly those with disabilities, language barriers, or limited digital confidence. Clear navigation and simplified page flows were key priorities.Accessibility and Clarity
Applied clear visual hierarchy, readable typography, and mobile-first layouts to ensure that the site is inclusive for older adults, people with disabilities, and users with limited digital literacy.Analytics and Performance Monitoring
Integrated Google Analytics 4, including enhanced measurement and scheduled email reports, to help the team understand how users interact with the site and improve service delivery over time.Training Sessions and Support
Provided live training to ensure the internal team can confidently update content, add pages, and monitor site activity without external support. -
The resulting website is a clear, accessible, and community-oriented platform that reflects the mission of Hillingdon Advice Partnership. It balances simplicity with purpose—offering residents a trusted place to understand the support available to them, and guiding them toward action with confidence. Designed for inclusivity and ease of use, the site empowers both the public and the partnership’s staff, ensuring that access to advice starts with clarity.
